Our Team
We are a multidisciplinary group of researchers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of science.
Dr. John Morris
Dr. John Morris is an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His research blends both theory and application, focusing on the mathematics enabling advanced digital engineering. He directs the Systems Engineering Applied Research (SEARCH) Lab, which explores novel modeling constructs for complex systems. His work has provided constructs for creating digital twins that are more interoperable, flexible, and robust than traditional methods. Dr. Morris completed his doctoral studies at Clemson University in Mechanical Engineering, where he also served as the applications engineer for the PLM Center, and his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. He is a member of ASME and INCOSE.
